On Sunday December 22, the choir, along with several guest singers, will be presenting our annual Christmas Cantata.  The title of this year’s cantata is “Winter’s Grace” which features many well-known and well-loved seasonal carols that are interwoven with original material.  The result is a canvas of music and spoken word that provides a glimpse of the miracle, promise and hope that is at the heart of Christmas.  The service will also feature a brass and percussion ensemble that will be reinforcing the choir and congregation as we all join voices in singing the time honoured carols that are an integral part of this season.  We hope that the cantata, the carols and the communal nature of this celebration will evoke memories and recall traditions that we share in this intergenerational event.  That is truly one of the gifts that is the hallmark of our faith’s heritage.
